Cloud AI Services

On-Device AI Models
Some features use artificial intelligence models that are downloaded and run locally on your device.
When these features are used, your prompts and generated content may be processed entirely on your device and may not be transmitted to our servers or third-party AI providers.
The App may indicate whether a particular feature uses cloud processing or on-device processing.
7. Third-Party Service Providers
We use third-party service providers to help operate, secure and improve the App, including:
Google Firebase for authentication, databases, cloud functions, notifications, storage, security, analytics and other infrastructure services;
RevenueCat for subscription and purchase management;
OpenAI for AI-powered conversational and language-learning features;
DeepL for translation services;
Apple and Google for app distribution, payment processing and platform services.
These providers may process personal information on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.
8. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area.
Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including contractual protections and other lawful transfer mechanisms.
9. Data Retention
We retain your account information and learning data for as long as your account remains active or until you request deletion of your account.
We may retain certain information for longer where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce our agreements, or protect the security and integrity of the App.
If an account has not been accessed for a continuous period of at least 12 months, we may classify it as inactive. We reserve the right, but are under no obligation, to delete inactive accounts and associated personal information.
Where reasonably practicable, we may provide notice to the email address associated with the account before deleting an inactive account and provide an opportunity to retain the account by signing in.
If an inactive account is deleted, certain information may be retained where required for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, security, or regulatory purposes.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
If local laws require a higher minimum age, that higher age requirement will apply.
